Rituels Straight Razor - 7/8" Blade with Ram Horn Handle
This straight razor hails from Thiers-Issard's renowned collection. Its case is made from Barenia leather that was originally used by Hermès to make saddles.
How it is made
This razor features a 7/8" CR135 steel blade with a square tip, a chevron pattern engraved by hand on the back of the blade (guilloche), and a mirror polish finish on both sides. Designed specifically for Rituels, our branding is also engraved on the blade. The base of the blade also has an anti-slip notching for a safe shave. It has an exquisite ram horn handle.
How to keep it sharp
Carbon steel razors keep remain sharp when they are properly cared for. However, they are susceptible to corrosion. Avoid leaving the razor in a steamy bathroom and oil it regularly. Use a strop after each use. A straight razor is an investment for a lifetime (and more!). If you take good care of it, you can pass it down from generation to generation!
